more CAC fun.

After the CA-15 Kangaroo was deemed obsolete before production, a modified interim version with P&W R-2800 and jet-assist was built in small numbers.  Dubbed the Cac-a-roo in RAAF service, the Kiwis named it after their very destructive parrot the Kakapo.

I love your updated Junkers-Dornier P.490 with turboprops (although they too need Jeff's MAD stingers)  :smiley:

A minor nerd quibble is that your 'Kreigsmarine' should read postwar 'Bundesmarine'.

Lineage: Kaiserliche Marine --> Reichsmarine --> Kriegsmarine --> Bundesmarine (or Volksmarine) --> Deutsche Marine

Glad you like them, quibbles noted.  Did consider MAD booms but these aircraft were to snoop on Soviet western regions so running away from Russian fighter-interceptors required tail guns  ;)

They are Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA), which includes surface work, rather than pure Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) aircraft though so perfectly acceptable to not have MAD booms given this is specific to the latter mission.
