me likey  8) the subtle difference with the toning down of the markings shows really well in comparisim between the two artworks, for completeness you should do one in post armistice markings circa 1946 with the yellow areas and roundels overpainted in green and smaller sized roundels applied :D

cheers, Joe

:) looks really good, neat profiling, definately suits the roundels  8) there were a number of short nosed 190's based in Finland during the Continuation War, its be an easy step to imagine the type ending up in service with the Ilmavoimat had the war lasted a year or so further

cheers, Joe

Actually, a post-war Ilmavoimat Short Nose Fw-190 (maybe something such as a A8 or F8) would look great.

If He-162 wings were flipped over front edge becomes rear.  Control surfaces now on striaght out rear edge.  May not be be faster, but would look faster.

Gorgeous single-seat F-16s.  Any chance of seeing the same schemes applied to late-model two-seaters (i.e. ones with the doral spine for extra equipment)?  Application of the conformal fuel tanks is optional.

Many thanks to all..... apropo: "Sokol" in czech is "Falcon" in english ....  ;)

Something new from me....

A little preparing for What if Group build with Czechoslovak Mobilisation camouflages....

A scheme Greygreen/Brown/Black olive is intended for Bomber planes, scheme Ochre/Brown/Dark green is intended for Fighter and Reconnaisance planes.
Scheme Khaki/Aluminium dope is standard Czechoslowak scheme in years 1926 - 1938.
Before mobilisation planes bore Regimental signs. Letter denotes the Flight, the number indicates the order in the Flight.

Given the close relationship the Czechs had with the British, the various bombers are more than appropriate and very nice to boot!

So,John.... in really history Czchoslovakia wanted to buy Blenheims , but the British were not willing to agree. And then Czechoslovakia bought soviet (russian) SB-2 and license rights for building them under designation Avia B-71.....
But we live in "alternative spaces",where British sold to Czechoslovakia not only Blenheims (as a compensation for the light bombers and Reconnaissance planes), but heaviest planes for compensation for the out of date Blochs MB-200 ..... but..... they may be can be replaced by Blochs MB-210 ... Now...thats not so bad Idea....because in really world Czechoslovakian  closest ally was a France....

Now I make a lot of drawings.... I hope, that later do I make at least a "simply history background".... or simpliest "timeline" for all this my drawings... :D

Thanks for the info Panther.  I had meant the relationship the Czechs shared with the British during the War as part of the RAF.
