I think we can just declare stephen the winner here.  Do people wish to vote for which one of his entries is best?

Sure, as long as one of the options is "All of the above"  ;)

Many thanks Doc!

Greg: Maybe we should just declare this one 'insufficient competition'?  Gotta light a fire under these other profilers for next time  ;)

And that kinda brings up mojo. I had heaps of ideas for this Scandinavian GB but found myself suffering from some sort of attention-deficit disorder. I would jump on my chosen sujet du jour, research the bejeezus out of it and then, like a 2-year-old in a candy shop, get distracted by the next sweetie. Then I'd get a profile 50-to-75% done only to tumble down yet another off-topic research hole.

By far, the worst one was pondering on a suitable roundel for a surviving Vínlandic state in North America. I eventually did settle on a design but, by then, I had embarked upon an entire alternative Vínland historical/developmental backstory  :P

So, little artwork but reams of world-building research. Arrgh!  Anyway, I'll let this moaning serve as notice: the official Scandinavian GB may now be over but preparations for the extended guerrilla war are already well underway ...  >:D
