Awaiting feedback from the Moderator as my idea (the lone idea I have at the moment) would be for a kit that is basically already built out of the box, not painted but would require mods for the subject I have in mind.

This is looking like a “lead sled” to me! Lead sled was an old hot rodding term for a car chopped and lowered with the body welded back together and filled with lead instead of a synthetic filler. It’s a complimentary term.

I'm thinking of maybe calling it either the "Preatorian" or the "Proconsul

Nicknamed the Prostitute, since it would have no visible means of support? Or call it the Atlatl or Amentum if you want to go with a spear theme.

You could add a chrome trim going from the base of the fins along the transition from top to sides and ending in two spear points over the front lights.

Day 1 of ETF 25 is now underway, which saw MAX (HMCS Max Bernays) conducted deck evolutions with a Cormorant helo.
A first for the HDW class (Harry DeWolf), it is likely the first time a Cormorant landed on an RCN ship.
This enables an important medivac capability which is needed when working in the Arctic!

Hi,
I think I'm almost done with the main body mods and have started moving along to attaching the roof and modifying the interior, as shown below.

I'm thinking of maybe calling it either the "Preatorian" or the "Proconsul".  In addition to maybe either "sidepipes" (or something that looks similar) I have also been thinking of mayb e trying to add some trim along that crease near the top of the door leading aft from the side vent forward, that would maybe look a bit like a Roman Spear or Javelin or something similar, as shown below.  Other than that I also want to modify the grille somehow, but haven't fully figured that out yet.

Still loving those colour names (although Plum Loco hurts my eyes!).

That is a cool car. Reminds me of Porsche 914 and Fiat X1/9.

Yeah, both of which are pretty cool too! Like small mid-engined pocket rockets.

Pocket size matters. The 3500-powered Rover P6BS was a beast compared to the Porsche 914 and Fiat X1/9. Of the latter pair, the Bertone-styled X1/9 was the looker (a great pity that Fiats of that era rusted out so quickly).

I always thought of the '84 Pontiac Fiero as the North American heir to the X1/9. Around here, as soon as the weather warms, Fieros emerge like cicada nymphs hatching. I was surprised to spot one at a local muffler shop - the entire local Fiero population had seemed to have been converted to electric drive.

The camo does look interesting.
Is it something that can be easily attached and detached?

I'm not sure, I can't find much info about it.
