The article was in an Air Progress if I remember correctly - I found a copy of the inspirational pic at this link about half way in  http://www.combatreform.org/killerbees2.htm

As for Hasegawa Mohawk abuse... I suppose ignorance is no defence ?  Does it apply to Airfix DH88s as well ?  ( I am in so much trouble if that is the case..)  :icon_surprised:

Now, back to MACV Mustangs

But Rick, a little bit of madness goes a long, long way, it inspires such amazing Whiffery like this 'Strike Hawk' (hey what about Shrike for a name?), and besides it's fun!! 8)

Cheers :)

Problem is, Sparky believes everything he says on his numerous websites and is a zealot who thinks he knows better than the entire Pentagon and all the associated US armed services combined.   He's been kicked off so many web forums that he has become an Internet legend in his own lunch time!   ;)

Perhaps his worst feature is that he cares not one whit for copyright.  His way isn't madness, it's actually insanity.   :o

I'm looking to build closer to Grumman's tandem-seat design using a Pucara cockpit and nose.  What you've got here will definitely be used as inspiration.

Builds like this (at least in US) will likely be illegal or taxed.
Really brings Mohawk up its potential as a terror of SEA.  :-*
