FINALLY!
After nearly 3 years of searching through ebay etc. I found one of my 'holy grail' kits in hands of private colector in Poland :)
Of course I couldn't resist and after finishing Viper Mk VII I started Seaquest. The kit was simple , consisting of 16 parts only. Although not many , parts were molded very precisely. Fit was good. Painting and wash was done with Vallejo paints. Hope you'll like it :)

nice model - are those two ROVs in the kit too ?
I think they meant it to be an alien spaceship
but jumped on the then-current deep-sea movie craze instead. seen one in a deep-blue scheme that looked fantastic.
I'm sure there are still quite a few kits hidden in people's stashes - another example of a kit that doesn't get built very often.

Very nice! That's one of the franchises from my childhood. That looks great.

Awesome work!! I was tempted to buy one of these and paint it like a Soviet Typhoon

I agree - looks a bit like it belongs in Babylon 5

Not only them. The kit also consists two underwater fighters (blue shark-like silhouettes , one over the "S" on the badge) and two WISKER probes.

Magnificent, Artoor! I really like the metal finish. That's some masterful paint work!

It's a squid, which is why it reminds folks of Babylon 5, however it predates Babylon 5.
From all accounts creator Rockne O'Bannon's conception was always a sub-aquatic setting
rather than a space setting.
