Not sure if I have shared this with the crew.

Tony Landis (well known author and NASA historian) was bored one afternoon and come up with these ideas:

What a bunch of B-70 variants. :)
Arctic rescue is a SURPRISE version.
S.E.A. version could be kitbashed as gun ship !
Makes a cool looking AWACS.

If can't get Concorde to work for you.  After removing tail surfaces and relocating entry door forward how about a DC3 fuselage ?
Be different look for B-70 and DC3.

OMG :o,,,, this posting string just awoke slumbering memory cells to fact that I have a long stuffed away started kitbash scaleorama B-70 build.  Might find it if get model room clutter cut down to ankle level.  Maybe find in time for Clear Your Workbench GB.

What Might Have Been: A conceptual North American Rockwell M-70B "Mothership” carrying the proposed delta wing X-15-3 follow-on. During a conversation with former North American Aviation President Lee Atwood, he discussed with me his proposal to use a modified B-70 as a high-speed launch platform for X-Planes and/or small satellites.
