Japan '46 GB - Rules
« on: September 06, 2020, 04:58:01 AM »
So, fellow samurai crew...
Our Caesar, may he'll live forever send us the rules of GB which he signed personally:
 Well here goes:

1. It's 1946. We cannot sign any peace treat, we'll fight till we die, till the end. In other words, every plane, tank, ship wearing Hinomaru's can and should fight. Captured, prototype or so...Even enemy units for better recognition.

2. Any and all way of fighting are welcome: physical models, pixels/profiles and stories. Likewise, both What If and Real World models are welcome. If you want to make your model out of clay then do an oil painting of it, you have Caesar blessing.

3. Part-started models are welcome as long as no substantial construction or painting has been undertaken. Please ASK the moderator about part-started models before submitting them. The moderator's decision is final as it'll be consulted with Caesar.

4. Duration will be from 1 Oct 2020 to 30 Nov 2020 14 Dec 2020.

5. Any questions are to be directed to the Moderator (me). PLEASE SUBMIT QUESTIONS BY PM.

6. Please start a new thread for each build within the GB area of the forum. When build is finished please post five photos of it in thread entitled "Finished Builds" (I'll open it later this month).

7. A poll, open to all forum members, will be conducted at the end of the GB to determine the winners in each category: physical models and pixels/profiles/stories.

So...BANZAI!

Could we have an "Inspirations" thread, please? ???

I have a past build I'd like to post in it to help get others' creative processes flowing.

I think I already have my build worked out. ;)

Hello there,

I'm really sorry that I couldn't be more present in your topics. Unfortunatelly Covid strucked my family pretty bad. I had time to check topics and that's all I could do. Now situation had cleared enough and I can be here more often. Sorry for my absence.

That sounds rough, Artoor! :o

Hopefully everything is better, now!

Was it the actual disease or the social & economic side-effects that were the problem? ???

Actual disease.
Poland's struggles with virus are like Goliath being a virus and David as a Poland, but it was polish so called governement that stole a sling.

My godfather (61) was under life-support (and pharmacological coma) for a week (being in hospital for more than month), test was done too late - it it would be done earlier he maybe would be cured without needs of LS ; grandmother (83) still fights with after-covid atrian fibrillartion, grandfather (86) had no symptoms but spend three weeks litelally lying in hospital due to positive test. If elder lies three weeks without walk then he almost  has to learn to walk again. My parents had all symptoms but without need to have hospital treatment (thankfully).

Now we hope that everything is going to be better. Everyone are home by now, weak but alive, thanks :)

Very rough! :o

Glad to hear things are getting close to normal, though! I'll be hoping things keep getting better for the elderly members of your family!

"sigh" I guess someone had to do it! :icon_crap:

Artoor, could we have an extension, please? ???

Five days isn't enough to get my build finished, but 19 days may be long enough. :-[

Appreciate the Old one leading the way - I was getting a little anxious myself. Thanks for the extension, K.

And let me say I am sorry for what you've had to go through. My family has managed to dodge the Pandemic so far, but my country...aiiiieee.
