Nice ones :)
Someday you can try some Romanian subject, anything comes to your mind.
Well, then what if...
Similarly to what happened with the joint partnership between Soko and IAR, that in the 70s produced respectively the Soko J-22 Orao and the IAR-93 Vultur, during the 90s the two aircraft manufacturer get once more together to develop a new 4th-generation, supersonic multi-role combat aircraft.
The aircraft, developed under the joint project name of "Novi Avion", are co-produced by the two countries, but receive different designations, in this spawning a Yugoslav variant, dubbed Soko J-23 Mišar (Buzzard), and a Romanian version, called IAR-105 Vampir (Vampire).
Here we can see some examples currently in service with the Romanian Air Force:
Bort number 5824, 86th Air Flotilla, operating at Feteşti AB, 2007
Bort number 6915, 95th Air Flotilla, operating at Bacău AB, 2007
Bort number 15123, 86th Air Flotilla, operating at Borcea, 2016
Number 3 of the Romanian Air Force aerobatic team, Hawks of Romania, 2013 season
Cheers!
