There are moments,specially in the summer,when the Black Sea is not so black and becomes turquoise,phytoplankton being responsible for this.

Ever wondered what the deck of the USS Hornet looked like as it transported the Doolittle Raiders to their destination?

If you're at #OSH17, you can get a feel for it in Warbird Alley this morning. The B-25s have been lined up to appear as they would have on the deck of the Hornet. This is part of the Warbirds in Review session this morning with Dick Cole, the last surviving Doolittle Raider.
