I was at Dyess AFB in 2003 and we could watch the B-1s taking off fully loaded. What a sound!!

People complain about the noise living by a base but I could hear that all day. Even when I was at Hurlburt Field where the AC-130s were based I could hear their guns on the range at night.

That is the Northrop Grumman logo. Both Northrop and Grumman had bird like company logos.
