It would be nice if they used that as a start to produce a kit of the Bell Model 407 which could then be used as a basis for a model of the MQ-8C. Still, I'd settle for a Model 206 for now (if/when it comes out, wonder how long 'til a conversion for a 206LR shows up?)
It's likely the ESCI mould, which
according to Scalemates has been around since 1980. Given that Fujimi and Heller have also released 1/48(/50) kits of the type over the years I'm surprised no-one's done any conversion sets. Actually, I take that back: I've just found
this 206L-1 set by

Although my (first?
) copy of the JetRanger kit will need custom decals, it's encouraging to see the label for a Super Decal sheet on the catalogue listing. The thing that I really, really wish and hope they fix is the height of the rotor mast. As seen in
this gorgeous build, it's too short and makes the machine look weird.
