I should note that the Sikorsky HH-60M has a pretty good medevac fit.

Didn't the RFDS also use the DeHavilland Drover, designed and built by DeHavilland of Australia?  There's a picture of a TAA one in the civil BV-222 thread.

Yes, they did. For some reason there were a lot of pictures of them when I was looking for TAA flying boat pictures. :-\
