Looking good.  I'd say to go for a green tint as that would work more with the rest of the paint scheme.  Alternatively, just go with a dark grey/black tint as is used on various limos et al.

Ok, I need some interior color advice - what would work best for a VIP interior?  I'm leaning to using Tamiya Dark Yellow for the seating to impart the idea of fine Corinthian leather - should I just carry that onto the walls and floor?  I'm thinking some dark brown accents for wood trim in the passenger compartment would be expected.  Any other ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

Shag carpeting would work on the walls. :)

Seriously, I'd stay with fairly bland, neutral colours for the interior. Beige, grey... etc. Anything bolder leads to colour balance issues on photo-ops. Never get between a politician and a photo op.

Found when I googled "VIP Gulfstream interior"

I also Googled " Presidential helicopter interior"

and "VIP helicopter interior" for ideas.

I got a bunch of good stuff from those, way too many to post though  :)

Thread necromancy!

It's been a while since any progress on this one, but I did manage to finally paint the passenger interior and seating.  Here's the proof:

The upholstery will be getting a flat coat to make it look less like vinyl and more like cloth.

Major components are together, just filling/sanding seams prior to paint.

News from the paint barn: I wanted to try a different primer and was going to use Vallejo Natural Steel and then I saw that I had Hawkeye's Talon Aluminum, so I gave it a go.

Here's the photo update:

If you don't let them look too close...there are some spots where the white lifted and I'm not entirely happy with how I "repaired" them.  But I need to move forward, so we're going to call it good and proceed.  Honestly, I'd be interested in hearing what their reactions are.
