Bits from that tanker conversion sound like they could be useful for a fire-fighting V-22 conversion.  That's beginning to be real tempting to work out; might be just the use for early LRIP MV-22Bs.

Regarding the S64 version I asked Mike if he could add skis and drop tanks so I can build this made-for-Canada version.

Work in progress ::

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.

Wonder if we could get a XP-47J or XP-47H?  That XP-72 conversion looks like it would fit very well with a P-47N.

”First of several old LSM kits to be making a comeback. 1/48 DeHaviland DH 5 resin and white metal. I plan to do a decal sheet but that may take months since I have several almost ready to print that must be done first.
White metal radial, Vickers MG, landing gear, and struts. The comb looking part is the control surface horns. The standing figure is also included.
Also a jig for building the lower wing with the dihedral.”

Via Mike's Facebook page.

And now for something completely different:

If you are tired of the run of the mill 1/48 B-58 Hustler, maybe this will help?

I am bringing back the J-93 Valkyrie test engine set , with more parts. The set now includes the FOD covers for the intakes and exhausts. The J-93 ones are not pictured. Decal is also included.

Will be available when the site reopens

Conceptually similar though the B-58 had the advantage of being able to go supersonic:

Aircraft in Miniature used to do a Concorde, and many years ago I had written to them to see if I could get some surplus engine nacelle parts from it so I could build this Vulcan FTB. I duly got them -- for a nominal fee   ;)

Lone Star Models news:

Due to requests, I will bring back the 1/48 ME-264 kit in the coming year. I plan to make a few changes and see if I can put it on a diet to lighten it up some. As it is right now it is 3 pounds of resin.

Just about anything from Cutting Edge.  I have some B-1 bits that I acquired from them just before they closed up shop.

I bought their 1/72 Chinese B-29 AEW conversion at about that time too, when I got the package I had a quick look at the bits then put it away. Much later when I decided to build the model with the conversion, I found that there were only two engine nacelles in the box  ----  :-X
