The PastAero Pegleg

Avast ye Bilge Rats, this be plundered from Janes' All th' World's Pirate Planes (Fair Use, ye scurvy dogs!).

"Here be th' PastAero Pegleg, a reverse-engineered version o' th' British Gladiator shipboard swashbuckler. Th' Pegleg be powered by a Scallywag 9-cylinder radial engine an' had a fixed armament o' twin 7.7mm Blunderbuss machineguns synchronized t' fire through th' two-bladed mangrove-wood propeller.

In th' attack role, th' Pegleg be carryin' twin underwing Marlinespike air-surface rockets, four Stinkpot chemical weapon dispensers, or up t' ten Grenado anti-swabbienel bomblets. A planned two-seat version wi' a Swivel Gun flexible observer's mount be nerebuilt.

Th' Pegleg sunk into scurvy obsolescence with nary a major improvement made nor a replacement planned simply on accoun' o' captainship at PastAero adherin' t' strict Pastafarian belief. Ortin' ta th' Pegleg require re-fiddlin', th' FSM would appear in the sky o'er the fact'ry an' make th' necessary changes wi' "His Noodly Appendage".

Th' Pegleg Mk.II shown be preserved on Booby Key in the Dry Tortugas an' be wearin' th' standard colours - an FSM rudder mark an' Davy's Fish roundel . She were assigned t' th' IInd Treasure Fleet (th' blood red tail bands an' cowlin' symbol). Th' "Arm wi' Cutlass" emblem o' th' XIth Flyin' Scourge lies beneath its cockpit."

Arrrr!

That's just amazing! I'm still not sure if that's a model you built or if it's a 'shopped pic of a model, but either way, I'm completely in awe, apophenia!

The fish skeletons were a nice touch.

Yaarrrrr!
