Hello All,
In late 1944, Royal Navy pilots were introduced to Goodyear's take on an upgraded Vought Corsair. The Fleet Air Arm got behind the project, and by mid 1945 the fleet carriers were equipped with the Corsair V, with clipped wings, such as this one.

This F2G Corsair V was built from the 1/48 Special Hobby kit, with racks and tanks from a Hasegawa F4U-5.
Thanks for looking,
Tony
