Ancient 29 cent 1/72 Spitfire kit and a reshaped six-blade propeller and spinner from an equally ancient Tamiya Shinden.

Ghod, I remember that kit from ages ago.  Basic but accurate shape as I remember (55+ years later).  I love what you're doing with it.

She's on her legs. Wheels, struts, & main gear doors are from the scrapbox and the tailwheel doors are cut from plastic card. Into the paint shop.

The prop looks great! Your glass desktop makes it look like it's in flight, coming in for a landing.

I got some old school racer colors on. Testors Black and Grapefruit(2 coats of gloss still needed). Decals soon.

That's a pretty colour scheme. If you'd described it to me I wouldn't have been so keen, but it looks really good in the plastic and paint.

Nice integration of Shinden prop.  Looks all the faster for it.  Color scheme is pure racer. :)
