I would really like to know if there is a kit available of the Cadillac Gage Commando Scout:

I really like the sleek, sic-fi look to this vehicle and would love to know if a kit is available.

I don't know if there's a kit of this, but I know that I WANT one...in 1/35th scale.

You and me both my friend.

I seem to remember a Verlinden resin one from 10-15 years ago. No plastic ones as far as I am aware.
-
I think the Verlinden one was a V-100.
This Scout car would be a great kit though.
We had a discussion on the MCV DG about prototype Canadian Vehicles. The Scout came up as this photo appears to be in a fairly unique 3-tone Canadian colour scheme and pattern. Plus the photo was from around the time of the AVGP trial and/or the Ferret replacement trials:

Yes, the Verlinden one was a V-100 which is different:

Definitely one I'd like in 1/35, always thought it would look good next to the APC from Aliens. :)
The lack of a kit is surprising because the hull shapes are actually pretty simple and wouldn't be difficult to master. :icon_fsm:

I wonder if that might be a good subject for a 3D printer.
The 1m turret alone would be good for all those who want a decent AVGP turret.

Definitely a possibility

Accurate 3 views and dimensions would help.

You could ask the creator is they could scale it up --- ???
-
Steal the wheels, turret and detail parts and build the rest from sheet plastic. At $150 plus for 1:48th and I’m sure more for 1/35th I would try that first.
-
After contacting the creator, there's now a 1/35 option...

$455.~ = NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE

Go on Jeff, order one...so that an injection moulded one get's announced days later.
-
If the creator took some time to shave down the thickness on the model in 1:35th scale it might actually drop the price but just scaling it up incurs the curse of an increase in material used so the price goes immediately to ludicrous levels.
As much as I like that little Commando-ette, I will pass.
