  • Hi mates!
Hi all,
I'm starting to assemble this RFM kit:

by Rodolfo Masti, on Flickr

to make this Sherman of the 35th Battalion, 4th Armored division which operated near Bastogne on 1945:

I found only this  picture about this specific tank:

Source: http://www.worldwar2facts.org/

any further help to find other pictures ... would be greatly appreciated 🙂
A quick look inside the box:

My armour-building self-confidence is feeling nervous, again! :icon_crap:

It looks like a fun kit - the build is coming along nicely. The tracks look nightmare inducing.

Engine clean one day, weathered the next! :icon_surprised:

It'd take me a week to get from clean to used, & it'd be only a fraction as well done as this! :icon_crap:

Nice work, Rod!

Looking good! How does the RFM kit compared to the (larger) Miniart Tiran?

IMHO the RFM assembling process is less complicated then Miniart but the mold is less accurate, a lot of imperfection and the extraction pins is almost everywhere ...

Will the final product be able to be pulled apart so the internal details can be appreciated?

Unfortunately, when the tank will be assembled it will be possible to pulled apart only the turret...
