What if an Attack Delfin armed with 2 NR-30 guns and powered by 1 RD-9 (the engine of MiG-19)

The space freed for 2nd crew man can be used for ammo and internal fuel.

I would worry about the guns in that position causing engine issues given where the intakes are.  Perhaps go with something similar to that used on the real world L-39:

Why would anyone downgrade the engine(s) that much?

You'd be better off using two Motorlet M-701s, they provide only 0.05 kN less power than a Jumo 004, each (8.75kN v 8.8kN), but both engines would weigh less than single Jumo (330kg each v 719kg each).
