an update on their Valiant B.2 conversion from AIM:

We announced the conversion to let people know that it is development, when  there was an upsurge in interest at the beginning of the year. The conversion design was just about finished, when this sudden interest developed and a lot more photos appears, meaning that we could add much more detail (correct wheel pattern, undercarriage detail, internal detail for the wheel wells, etc.). A a result I am redesigning a lot of the earlier design, which takes time, but I would far rather delay production and make it as detailed and accurate as possible.

Although not my preferred scale (surprise, surprise!), the option of adding Viper engines is interesting.  I wonder how one would go adding these to a Lancaster or Lincoln bomber for added take off boost and perhaps speed over target?

That's a nice idea Carl, but the Vipers were installed in the outer nacelles on the Shackleton, right where you would have your undercarriage in a Mosquito nacelle ---  The Jet Mosquito would be a better way to go -----

Hmmm...but if the vipers were added in an over-wing position...

It would be draggy as hell, screw up the wing aeodynamics, add weight, reduce payload/range etc.
A pointless exercise on something as small as the Mossie.
