This fall will also see a reissue of Lindberg’s 5 Spaceships of the Future set.   This is a packaging of the 5 original space kits – The Flying Saucer, Space Station, Three Stage Transport Rocket, Satellite Rocket, and the Moonship.  At this time it is not known if all the original packaging will be re-created.  This gift set was originally produced in 1957.

Well, if they package them all in one box, they're going to price them out of the market. Sales on these locally have been lackluster to say the least, and that's the individually boxed reissues.

I suspect the market for retro-space stuff is pretty diffuse: they might be selling better over the web globally than they are through one hobby store. Of course, they have to be priced right too: sticking a 21st century 'collector's' price tag on what everybody knows is a 1950s molding doesn't go down too well.

Round2-Lindberg have also re-released the old Lindbergh 1/96 Caravelle and 1/144 (it isn't really) Comet4, these are the versions with interiors, clear fuselage side for Caravelle, hinged panel for Comet which also comes with support vehicles.

I'm sure it will be a limited run boxing, so they won't likely have to worry aboot low sales. That said, if you want it, you will need to grab it quickly, as I expect they won't have a long linger time.
