I have an old Airfix Hudson that wants to become a gunship. Unfortunately, I acquired it 3rd or 4th hand and a few parts are missing so I'll need to be creative working around that issue.

You may be onto something here. If you drop the 1/48th Ventura on your foot it doesn't so much 'rock' as hurt...
