Model-wise, the Ar-234 family is well represented by the Dragon offerings in 1/72 and so-so in 1/48 (Hobbycraft and Hasegawa).
The He-343 is represented by a pretty nice AirModel 1/72 vac (with resin bits) and a Special Hobby 1/72 resin kit.

I don't know who made this, but it's beautiful; it's one of my favorite whiffs: The Aeroflot "Octa" in 1/144 made from a 1/72? Ar 234C:

Yes - well represented in various versions :)
Vintage 1/72 Lindberg 234 is nose of Slowy Jet. Cross section with fuselage was good match.
Lindberg kits are around too. Of course not quality of current kits.

This one will not be but I have three more Ar 234's mash-ups of which two will be tail draggers. Once I get organized, I will post pictures of what they should look like.

I was originally thinking simply Klimov RD-10s (i.e. Jumo 004s). Basically, a squadron or two manufactured from remaining airframes or even new built and put into service immediately after WWII. Maybe serving for a couple of years at most alongside fighters such as the MiG-9 and Yak-15.

after reading a topic on a scale-o-rama airliner version of an Me262 over on the other forum, i remembered a project i was working on on paper (and still am) of a 1/72 airliner version of a 1/48 scale Ar234, would work better with a 1/32 version.

at first the plan was to build a propellor driven version, powered by 2 Junkers Jumo.022 turboprop engines.
but in this rough sketch, i decided to go with 4 Heinkel HeS.011 jet engines. the nose/cockpit section needs work, but this would be the general layout plan.

Working in 1/32 gives a lot more room to play with, and fictional wing tankage would be doable.

i was thinking of using tanks in the wings, and use the outer buldges for the main landing gear. i would also use a shoter but beefed up nosewheel. i could also put a belly tank in it, similar to the EE Lightning

Geeeee,,, looked on Ebay and found there is a 1/32 kit.
Was new to me. Put that on nice-to-have list for 1/72 build.
I calculate approx 93ft 4in as 1/72. Near B-29 length of 99ft.
Greg --- is 62ft 3in as 1/48. You can build bigger badder Luft 46 version.

This close up shot of an early Heinkel He 111 and the open spinner made my brain think it was a jet at first. It makes one think about the viability of a high-wing jet He 111.
