1/72 Decals for RNZAF helicopters
« on: August 26, 2014, 05:16:29 AM »
Could anyone direct me to some 1/72 RNZAF decal sheets for helicopters or aircraft.  More precisely, ones with SEA style camo

Thanks Greg --  :)

Looking at other options now, would Aussie markings be ok for this project below, I don't want to re-paint the thing though --

That's beautiful!!  I definitely want to see pcitures when you finish decalling it.  With your permission, I'll share them with the V-22 FMS marketing team. ;)

Thanks guys, appreciate the comments.  Evan, no worries about sharing the pics once I get it decaled.  Now I've got to make a decision on what to do it as, so far I've had suggestions for a Belgian operated one, New Zealand and Australia but it depends on what decals I can find. Looking at the link Greg posted, the NH-90 sheet might work for a RNZAF one --

I do know that XtraDecal does a US operated V-22 sheet specifically -- and that might be the way to go too.  Don't think I can work a Canadian one into the camo scheme though --   ;)

I went with a complete 'wrap-around' with the scheme, and I made it quite a few years ago now but never could find suitable decals for it. It's the Italeri 1/72 kit, box #175

The RNZAF NH90 ones would make perfect sense.  The oldmodeldecals lot are really responsive too - I have purchased from them a couple of times.

I wrote an email asking if I could get some extra markings included on a selected sheet, got a response within three hours of sending it. Looks like they're willing to do custom ones too ---
