Hallo !
Some advance on the Dabohaze job:
I drew the decals using a vector graphics program (Inkscape, a free but powerful tool)...

I printed them on a paper sheet that I stapled behind an acetate sheet. Then I sticked on the acetate a masking tape suare and proceeded to cut off the correct shape.
I sticked to the wing the big shape (big skull) and on the nose the small skull) just to keep those areas white to avoit the camouflage peeping from beneath the decals.

These are the decals printed on Inkjet transfer foil (white bg) and sprayed with matt clear finish.
To replicate the cockpit canoopy I made some tries wit plied cardboard, here is the final shape I decided to choose:

I just made two versions of the canopy:

On the left the canopy was masked with tape and painted, I am not at my ease with handling so small chunks of tape, so it did not result in a fully satisfactory paint job.
On the right a version on which I glued thin slices of plasticard as framing, the result was a bit better.

Both of the versions are shown here as they are now.
Another friend of mine sent me a couple of alternative propellers that I think are much closer to Miyazaki drawings: here they are painted
