That looks very interesting, indeed.  Seems like it looks like something used in Vietnam but was a pusher.  You are definitely keeping up the good work alright.
I may be old but I'm not dead ... yet anyway ... !!!    And NO I did not know Richard III !!!!!!

Hi, my name is Stephan. I'am a model pilot from Germany and just registered to this board a few minutes ago.
I know, that this is a real old thread, but it motivated me to build a real life model, which will hopefully have its first flights very soon.
It is the H-version, a flying boat.
Span is two meter, weight is 2,5 kilogram. Will let you know the outcome.
Have fun with a few pictures.

Welcome aboard! That's a nice looking model - what's it made of? I'll be interesting to hear how it flies; you'd think that the origial designers would have used a twin tail, to put the prop wash to some good use.

Hi,
sorry for late reply, just came back from a four days waterflying event.
Aeroput MMS3 YU-SAR-H  is made from Depron foam. I used carbon fiber with epoxy to give some strength to the structure where needed.
She had her maiden flight during the event and she flies fantastic. I had to do a lot of trimming and some changes to the mixes, but after that she is now very easy to fly. There will be video soon.

Thanks.
The first minute was difficult, because trims were off, but after that was sorted out she flies like a trainer.
I stumbled over this thread a few years ago and started the build six months ago. Next thursday i will take her to one of the biggest german waterflying events at Edersee and show to the public. I'am sure people will like.

Nice video! I didn't see the alligator go after your plane or the SR Princess!

Thanks.
Alligator and SR Princess are operated by same guy, so no risk for the Princess.
I was simply lucky...  ;)
