Airwolf is on my wish list at SprueBrothers...I've almost pulled the trigger and purchased it a couple times, but I'm trying to thin the herd on the shelves before I go and add more boxes to the stash.

@Lemonjello,
You know what will happen ....  They will discontinue it or the price will drop.  Same principal applies to the scratch build you worked two years on. Soon as its done, a kit will come out.

Those two kits, along with a Hughes 500 as TC's Chpper from "Magnum PI", and an S-58T in pink as the chopper from "Rip Tide" would pretty well complete the 80s TV show Helicopter collection. I think the truck in "the Highwayman" also had a helo that popped out of it tho. Drat. Now I'm not sure.

I've got the AMT Ertl Airwolf, it is pretty basic, and the Monogram Blue Thunder is in 1/32. I was going to convert a Heller Aerospatial to Blue Thunder, but by dragging my feet for over 20 years, somebody finally did a kit of it! Hurrah! Procrastination pays off!

Unlike the Aoshima kit, the AMT airwolf can be used to build a stock Bell 222.  :)

BTW the Aoshima Lamborghini Aventador kit is very nice looking and I've been sorely
tempted.

Yes, that Type 60 is a very interesting little vehicle with all sorts of whiffy possibilities. I wonder if the kit has the option of building the RRs in the extended position?

I don't: Sponsored-By-Estate-Agents-Scale gets all the good stuff....  ;)

Type 60:

This is why there are two in the box....

It's remarkably hard to find out about the tracked dumper/crane thing: all I can make out is that it might be made by a company called "Morooka":

Should appeal to Jeff's interest in plant and machinery....

That Type 60 SPG(?) has always intrigued me but yeah, I'd like to see it in 1/35 scale too.

I'm ok with the type 60 in Braile scale...be nice to have an Ontos to go with it. ( I know there is a kit out there in resin, but its kinda pricy. )

That Marooka Tracked vehicle is really neat looking.  Would love to see that in 1:35th scale too.

You can get a 1/50 scale one, probably die-cast though.

Aoshima is to release a JGSDF Type 96 8x8 Armored Personnel Carrier: LINK!

The CAD drawing's colours look interesting:

Something for the fire brigade? A project for the upcoming Fire-fighting GB (set to kick off in two weeks)?  :icon_beer:

A bit stunned Aoshima still make kits  :o
I have a gawdawful ship kit somewhere I apparently had to have. Needless to say it is unfinished.
But in this day and age things would no doubt have improved. I hope.

Nonetheless.. interesting subject

Same with me --- the Grumman F7F kit, had to have it because it had the prototype as an option

Uh, Aoshima never stopped making kits and they've been producing a huge series of automobile kits
for decades, ditto 1/72 armour.
 ;D

Their 1/72 Ta-152 kits, released in the late '90s, are considered amongst the best of that subject,
their Ki-61 II and Ki-100 kits and Shiden series are also highly regarded.
