Have you tried contacting Airfix directly?  They might even supply free of charge.

If not, is there a woodyard near you?  They might have a little cone shaped offcut that you could use as a mould...?

What's the box number ? you might need a later boxing number to order it.  Airfix will replace it if you contact them, they're pretty good that way.  You won't get a reply from them though unless they can't help you.  The part will just turn up in your mail box.

Thanks for the replies - I never thought to ask Airfix directly... the only number I can find on the box is 04036. A Google search turns up a Typhoon kit indeed, though in the new red box, whereas I have an older blue box. Either way, thanks - off to contact Airfix!
