M-13 Picket family of armored vehicles.
Introducing the M-13 Picket family of armed fighting vehicles.
The main hull of this APC started out as the soviet MTLB. I liked the overall look of it but it had some drawbacks. It was very cramped so I made it a lot deeper. I also changed the suspension to use M4 Sherman Volute Spring bogies because this is a WW2 era design. I also had to redo a lot of small things like give it American style radio antennae, viewports and headlights. Small things. Biggest change was I removed the 2 rear doors and replaced it with one large M113 style hatch.
Front row, closest to camera is the standard APC version.
It could carry 8 fully armed soldiers and a maximum of 4 more in the vehicle. 1 in the turret and 3 more in the drivers compartment.
This carried the turret from the M1 scout car with a single M2 Browning 50 cal HMG and a M1919 30 cal machine gun.
Next furthest is the Infantry Fighting Vehicle version.
The turret used is from the M22 Locust light tank. It has a 37mm M6 cannon and 30 cal. Additionally it has 4 external M20 "super" bazooka barrels.
Furthest away in the front row is a 2nd IFV version.
This uses a modified M3 Lee turret. The 37mm cannon is replaced with a 20mm Oerlikon autocannon firing AP and a 30 cal coax.
Back row has a Fire Support Vehicle, Rocket Launcher and AA Mount.
The FSV turret houses a short barreled 75mm howitzer.
The Rocket launcher contains 33 M8 artillery rockets
Last vehicle contains the M16 AAA mount with four 50 cal M2 HMG.
