I took that as my maximum effort war load for the B-30. I measured out my bombs by dimensions and split them between 2 bomb bays. I made the forward bay just large enough to carry the T10 Tallboy bomb.
When I did my math wrong, I figured I could cram in twice as many 500 and thousand pound bombs if I used the middle of the bay but that would make it far too heavy to even take off.
