Hi all ;), I have a question, guys: is it possible to install an M40 106mm recoilless rifle on a vehicle like the AIFV(YPR765, CM21etc)? Is there a photo or picture, project of anything similar? Is it possible to install a recoilless rifle m40 on an AIFV type armored personnel carrier (YPR765, CM 21, etc.) if there is sloped armor at the rear of the vehicle?

I know I've seen a photo of an M113 with the RR mounted close to the roof hatch. The slope armor shouldn't be too much trouble if you build a mounting base for it.

Short answer: Yes. The vehicle you should look at is the YP408 106 mm TLV (Terugstootloze Vuurmond) prototype armed with an M40A1.
