As a anti-monarchist, I initially thought "NO Thanks!" ... but then the end date sparked my interest.  I now have an idea to modify a real "vehicle" that was decommissioned at 11.30pm on the 13th December 1952 - 70years ago to this build closing date.

I'm with you re being anti-monarchist (unless of course I am the one being rightfully recognised as Emperor of the none universe...).  I suppose that just like to builds of things such as Nazi platforms, doing a build here does not mean you support something.
