My brother asked me what (cheap) gift I wanted for birthday, and – well – I had decided to stop modelling with my son’s arrival, but this arrival is delayed, so… one more model, the very last one I think. I wanted a tiny model because I have no more room, maybe in front of books in shelves. So I decided to turn plastic a mind-project of mine: aesthetic improvement of a P-47 Thunderbolt nose, with a P-47 eggplane as tiny basis:

- removing propeller, undercarriage, guns, roundels
- with putty, creating a round glider nose
- gluing the half wings together and below the fuselage (to stand without wheels and to decrease span further)
- installing both tailplanes on the port side (for a touch of asymmetry)
- paint: all sky blue, as usual for my models, with a black canopy
