Enlarged version of Martin 4.0.4, equipped with the wings of XB-48 and their odd triple jet pods
To avoid central undercarriage, not adequate for a liner, main u/c has been moved to sponsons in outer face of engine pods.

 B-45 based airliner appears build-able for those up to the cutting and PSRing.

Here three alternative Lockheed Jetliners of 50s. Starting with fuselage of Lockheed Electra L-188.
First 2 are my personal interpretation of project L-193, (Constellation II): https://www.secretprojects.co.uk/threads/lockheed-l-193-constellation-ii-jet-airliner-1953.16708/ (https://www.secretprojects.co.uk/threads/lockheed-l-193-constellation-ii-jet-airliner-1953.16708/)
The third one is a what if Lockheed tried the 707 / DC-8 option

Nice! But I really like your SAS B-45 airliner. Has a bit of an Avro C102 Jetliner feel to it

Do you know that DC-9 could be a downscaled DC-8 with 4 smaller engines? https://www.secretprojects.co.uk/threads/douglas-dc-9-development-concepts.9880/ (https://www.secretprojects.co.uk/threads/douglas-dc-9-development-concepts.9880/)

Along with RW Lockheed L-1011-500, here we have a twin derivative, with same engines but only two; Dash-600
https://www.secretprojects.co.uk/threads/lockheed-l-1011-tristar-twin-derivatives.18025/ (https://www.secretprojects.co.uk/threads/lockheed-l-1011-tristar-twin-derivatives.18025/)

And here, another Lockheed project: QuadStar derived from L-101-500 too, with four engines (like those of DC-10-10) in an original disposition that I will call "Evan config" ;D

DC-10 along with its derivative twin. Another real project https://www.secretprojects.co.uk/threads/twin-engined-dc-10-project.4299/post-34002 (https://www.secretprojects.co.uk/threads/twin-engined-dc-10-project.4299/post-34002)

Has an Airbus look to it.

Super Scandia, equipped with 4 radials derived from RW's Saab Scandia. It is also equipped with a conformal fuel tank under the belly to reach intercontinental range.

-
Nice! Your 'Super Scandia' has a piston-engined Electra feel about it
-
^^^^^
Maybe. But I have to recognize that I was thinking more on a DC-4/6.
Thanks for your words! :D
-
Yes, it certainly has that DC-4 feel ... but something about the nose and cockpit windows especially the evokes Electra for me

Some years ago I saw this beautiful Tupolev design labeled as Tu-101

When I searched more deeply, I saw these two drawings

As nothing seems too clear , I decided to produce a turboprop powered and reduced version of Tu-134
(https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/j340/ysi_maniac/Tupolev-1xx.jpg?width=1920&height=1080&fit=bounds) (https://app.photobucket.com/u/ysi_maniac/a/caec78e4-057f-4fe9-82f4-083a43455765/p/e1d4695b-e3cf-4408-87cc-7deba92ed538)
Any other info or help with this project?

Ąpropos Il-86
1. RW Il-86
2. Do you know that in the beginig of project, Il-86 was to have Il-62 config (with 4 engines in the rear fuselage)?
3. What if a turboprop powered widebody?
4. Superpowered Il-86
