Title: To Boldly Go -- Far Far Away
Post by: ed s on March 16, 2016, 09:12:33 AM
My latest build. The theme for our club's annual contest is "Movies and TV" and tomorrow's meeting is the contest. This is my entry.

To Boldly Go:

Far Far Away:

So here is the complete diorama:

Both the Enterprise and the Star Destroyer are AMT kits and to be frank they were both a real PITA to build. The frame is some lumber from the workshop and it was painted space black and the star ships are floating over a large gas giant planet.

A few more photos:

And finally, how do I get a Star Destroyer and the Enterprise together.
The black plaque on the front tells it all. I don't have a good photo, but here's what it says.

"Scott to bridge. Cap'n, I don't know what ye have done, but we be a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away"

Ed

ps. No, this isn't eligible for the sci fi group build, since I started working on it last summer.
