I was expecting a twin boom jet fighter, but this'll do! Nice detailing and paintjob. The skintone looks great.

That's some first-class work, Radish!
Working in such diverse subject matter never fails to earn my admiration!

I have to say first that the photo was taken on my phone and doesn't really show the differences I've made.
The figurine is commercially available, and although generally well-painted, it needs extra stuff added to bring out the detail on the flesh and particularly the base, and the hair. Also, for a vampire, there was a distinct absence of fresh blood in the cup, so I added some and dribbles to her mouth.
Thisyear, IPMS Stafford are displaying a theme of "Gods, Heroes and Myths" at ScaleModelWorld 2012 in Telford in November, and apart from the "Three Furies" (ie 1/48th Sea Furies of Burma, Pakistan and Cuba), there's a DH Vampire from me (1/72nd...French) and an F-4D Phantom (1/48th, USAF). Counting up the models last night at the club meeting, we've in excess of 20 models ranging from the above to ships, cars, aircraft and if required for "spice", some of the resin figurines which will be available if the club want them....like the 7" hight totally naked kneeling Medusa.....need to do (im)proper research for that >:D >:D

You will take photos for the judges to compare your work to the real example won't you ?? ---- (& of course post them here too ;) )

A Vampire Fairy...7" high.
All drybrushed white to bring out the detail. Washes on the wigs and further drybrushing, detail washes/repainting of the flesh area to emphasise the cleavage. Blood added around the mouth with droplets on her chest....the flower bleeds too.
Still needs some work on the flesh.
Gloves and basque repainted with much thinned black.
My friend Donna provides inspiration. >:D >:D

You've got a real talent for figures, Radish!
That's some first-class paintwork! Your vampy fairy would be in the running at any contest!
