I always thought the podded engine version (ala A-10 style) was the earlier version and the version in the picture in the first post was the final version.  Either way, nice scratch build there. :)

Hmmm...PZL Warszawa-Okęcie is now known as EADS PZL Warszawa-Okęcie SA after being acquired by EADS.  I wonder if one could have the PZL-230 reincarnated as the "Cassidian Skorpion" as a light attack aircraft (and quite possibly dual role trainer) as a counterpart to the likes of the Yak-130/Alenia Aermacchi M-346 Master.  Hmmm...maybe another scratchbuild will be required in the future.

First version was propeller-driven. Then there was second version which mock-up was build  (which is now storaged in WAT (Military Technical Academy) hangar in Warsaw). Then the "Skorpion"-concerned needs have been changed. According to them "Skorpion" had to: reach supersonic speed, have more capacity than it's weight and had stealth capabilities. Because of these needs size and cost of "Skorpion" had increased .  There wasnt't any mock-up of final version, only CAD models. There were two final podded engine versions:first with F-15-like tail-planes and second with tail-plane like YF-23.

Maybe...but personally I don't think that someone would like to raise "Skorpion"
There was a modern polish trainer but not build in EADS PZL Warszawa-Okęcie SA:

This is EM-10 Bielik built by private company, another "unwanted child" of polish aviation industry. Bielik has great performances and it's very agile. Sadly this project was also abbadoned
