There are some nice Ar196 kits available now - anyone want to have a go at an Ar196B:

Here's my old "Ar-196T" carrier scout-bomber:

Landing gear from a Henschel 126. I had made a mock-up of this with Ju-87 spats--it looked "tougher", but the present one is more in keeping with my concept of a "first effort" to have a shipborne light bomber.

Using the Hs 126 gear for the Ar-196T was a great idea. How much simpler wing folding would be! :)
