Beautiful art work! ( I love the little radar antenna on the nose of the supersonic concept. Were
those on the original, or is it an inside joke? )
-
Actually, the model is a what-if never built so the whole thing is imaginary but based on a real bomber proposal by Stockel with blueprints and stuff...
-
For someone like me that is only starting to learn 3D modelling and texturing, I really appreciate your wor: Great ones :)

Hi everybody i really appreciate all of your replies and would like to thank you all,
so here is a new piece the F24 Manta a close air support stealth fighter, it is my own design the most noticeable features dispite the aerodynamic configuration are the semi proned pilot position and the flapless controls the two give us an aircraft with low frontal surface area, the landing gears would be attached on each wingtip and centrally on the fuselage.
hope you like it!

Hi all, its been a while i didn't post here!
so first the stockel supersonic bomber wih postwar camo this time more in accordance with its design date 1955, i started this render with this old model when bored but it turned out it was a possibly good postprocessing exercise. see the full res here : http://bit.ly/1bL7fAr (http://bit.ly/1bL7fAr)
and the henschel 132 second version a fighter variant with 2 × 20 mm MG 151 cannon and a modified wing planform here having a double taper and more diherdral.
The camo used here is simply a fantasy design by renaud mangallon a french artist, Full res here : http://bit.ly/GZFcDb (http://bit.ly/GZFcDb)
Hope you like!

Bomber painting captures impression of speed. Weathering of markings adds a lot. :)
Double taper of wing on Henschel 132 helps with distinctive look. Seems post war. :)
-
Wicked! Love the first one - need to see more.
-
Great stuff, love the Stockel and the weathered markings. Really cool to see some soviet stuff too, that's unusual.
-
Thanks guys for your feedback most appreciated! :)
-
I love the Manta dream, most of all (I did not see it when it was posted, sorry)
-
A fighter variant of the Hs 132 makes good sense and Renaud Mangallon's camouflage concept looks great here!
-
Thanks both Tophe and apophenia!

Wow, it has been so long since my last post here.
Here's my latest fun project the Argus As 292, a drone ahead of its time developed in 1939 as a remote controlled training target. Following to its success, a reconnaissance and a bigger bomber variant were proposed.

Weird! :-*

Interesting, however the De Havilland Queen Bee target drone, based on the DH 82 Tiger Moth
was in service as an aerial gunnery target for the Royal Navy from 1937 until 1946. First flight was in
1935, 412 built, 360 as floatplanes. It had an automatic landing system and they were often reused.

Good article on the Queen Bee here, it starts with WWI background:

Nice info! And even more impressive is the Kettering Bug which has flown for the first time in 1918 ! Which is more of a unmanned aerial torpedo.
-
Any fighter with a crew of more than two automatically gets my approval
