HMS Temeraire

This project is based on a purchase in ebay of an "only for spares" item. It was a Revell HMS KGV (1/570) almost complete but very poorly executed.
My aim: To convert a Revell HMS KGV (1/570) into HMS Temeraire (with some creativity)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lion-class_battleship
. New turrets with 3 16 in. guns come from a vile USS Missouri at 1/535; but turrets are not so bad.

First, hull is properly closed, deck flattened and the rings of first and last turrets are moved 1 cm approx each to the center, because they are now bigger turrets.
I know it is already done, but I want to show you how to draw a proper waterline even if bow is raised.
I admit that it does not look very clean, but wait, in whiffery anything can be fixed...

Surprisingly a very neat cut at first attempt .
Lets close hull with waterline plate. Curing with adequate weight.
Voilą...

See difference in aa armament. Can anyone explain differences?
Why Lion looks less protected?
Were octuple mountings discontinued in Royal Navy? Why?

Resulting model is 42,2 cm long which means 42,2 x 570 = 24054 cm = 240,54 m

The Lion appears to have Sextuple Bofors instead of the Octuple Pompoms, a far more effective close in AA capability.
