Hi guys, It's been quite a long time since my last visit here, but I'll try to atone for this, at least with these entry
So I've recently dug out some interesting model scraps such as 1:48 F-22 carcass, some sadly looking parts from 1:72 Sr-71, cockpit with canopy from 1:72 A-6E (or more accurate - remnants of my early atempts to glue togeatgher some parts
), wheels and part of landing gear from 1:144 Airbus A-310, few toy rockets and other, less significant model debris:
I'm thinking about putting it togeather in this configuration:
There will be also something like NASA style docking port few centimeters behind cockpit which will be conected via acces tube with cockpit. Im also planning to widen a bit space between pilot chairs - enough to place acces tube exit. Canopy will be non transparent, partialy beacuse it's totaly dirty from glue (those mentioned earlier early attempts...) and it also need to be widen a bit more. Beacuse It's going to operate primary in spcae air intakes going to be converted into additional weapon bays
As I see it, to operate in orbital conditions this air craft or rather space craft will be using some... different and classified propulsion system
. Finally wing tips going to be wrapped up a bit (enough to look a least a bit like capable of atmosferic entry) and I'm also thinking about spherical nose like in NASA Shuttles...
