Under a month away. 7-9 June 2014
What a way to spend a possibly cold, wet and perhaps gloomy weekend in Melbourne.

for those who couldn't make it, here's some 178 photos for you. Some good some OK, some not so good and some just shouldn't be there but they are:

There was a lot of extremely good entries there this year and the Sci-Fi division had a heap of kits compared to other years (50 models there I believe the tally was)

Well worth the trip there if you can ever make it.

2 Reasons why a model is better than a wife:
1) A model doesn't get jealous when you look at another model
2) A model doesn't yell at you for spending money on another model

Damn I couldn't make it as SWMBO is out of the country at the moment and I am holding down the fort.  I will be in Melbourne for a while in a few weeks time though - might have to catch up with some of you guys to make amends.

Here is a link to the Blog we made this year as we went along
http://micsmodelexpodiary.blogspot.com.au/

A pretty big show 720 Competition models, probably another 3-400 or more on displays.

Not a lot of whiffers, but it is not every show where a Gundam gets best in Show, but the Khastripede (or whatever !) was a superb piece.

Add a few pix later.

Greg let us know if you are coming down and see if we can knock something together.
