Folks:
I am building a Do 335 which I hope to have done for the April GB.
It is my first 335 ( with a few more in the stash) but I find it an overly complex model. The engines, cockpit etc. have too many components which I now read DML is known for.
Enough drivel. After closing up the fuselage halves, I found I now have a 2-3mm gap between the instrument panel and the fuselage just in front of it. Everything else seem to line up.
I was able to shim in a shroud using .020 sheet. Is the gap a design flaw or did I screw up?
