Title: HMS Troll
Post by: tigercat on July 27, 2016, 02:54:06 PM
Based on several Catamaran Salvage ships. The Germans had one in WW1, then their was a Spanish Kangarou  and the russian's still have one having seen over 100 years service.

Love the obscure ship class.

What scale? Just a guess, but is that an N-Gauge steam crane?

Love the obscure ship class.

Yes,,, different kind of design yet appears correct in all ways.  Structures supporting center are great. :)
Four boats on stern look familiar.

Supporting structures are dapol footbridge which is why she's called HMS Troll . The boats on the stern have been redesigned as salvage pontoons but are actually from airfix pontoon bridge.

Is it possible to have Bow and stern pics and definitely would like to view the Launching ramp with the V-1

A few close-ups would definitely do it more justice.
Liked the use of the pontoon bridge set parts - they lend themselves to some real creative purposes.
