Title: S.H.I.E.L.D 'Heli'carrier

Now that I'm done with my Honneamise carrier, I'm going to start my new build. It will be a SHIELD helicarrier, but not the one from the recent movies. It'll be the one from the newer comic books, the one that looks like a conventional aircraft carrier with huge engines mounted on it. My version will be a little different though.

My basis will be a cheap quality 1/2500 blind box gashapon aircraft carrier. the details are poor, but it should be alright for what I'm hoping will be a quick build.

The elevator is poorly aligned:

The planes are not that great, if I don't have time to scratch some planes I will use them as a last resort.

Just a quick update - bottom hull and engine pylons complete.

Now the hard part is the engines, ordinarily I would make 1 then cast the rest, but I don't have my casting stuff with me so I have to make all them manually.

Finished the carrier. Now the only thing left is the air wing, which I will do later.

Air wing coming along, at first I thought I;d have to make them one at a time, but then I remembered I packed some oyumaru. Not as good resin, but putty casts will have to do for now. For simplicities sake, the air wing will only compose of hornets and maybe a single hawkeye.

As done as I'm going to get with the air wing. 7.3mm long hornets are really fiddly.
