Yeah, they flew them... ;)
Thought I'd try out something different for this profile. After talking to Logan for awhile I decided to try my hand at making some 3D profiles. So what do you think? Its no where near Logan's photo realistic, "I can smell the AVGAS" profiles but I think it turned it fairly well.

"That's good. You have taken your first step into a larger world."
Seriously, though, that looks great, Mike! It's a lot better than my first, second, or third stabs at the craft! Are you going to do Traders, too, or just Trackers? My grandpa was on a Trader on the USS Ranger during its on its first few cruises.
Cheers,
Logan

Your Tracker's awesome, Cliffy! It could grace the pages of any S-2E reference with pride!
Well done!

OK guys, I've modified/corrected my Tracker. Realized the prop was entirely the wrong shape, the designation was wrong, the pilot's window was flat instead of rounded (thanks Logan!), the cast shadows were reflecting the type of surface they were on, and my cylinders weren't showing reflected light on the bottom edge. All issues have been dealt with, enjoy!

Any and all comments, thoughts, ideas, etc... are appreciated as always.

Looks good, Mike! Only major lighting/shading issue I see is that you're still bending light and showing shadows curving around the bottom of cylinders. Also, be careful about the reflected light on the bottom of the aircraft. That really only happens when there's something to reflect off of, like a cloud or tarmac.
The windows look great! They really show off the shape of the window.
Cheers,
Logan
