M4's
« on: June 07, 2019, 12:43:56 PM »
My airbrush recently died and with work interfering I haven't finished much lately,  built a bit but couldn't paint them.  But on leave now with a new airbrush.  The first two done were finished last week, a M4A1 and a firefly.
M4A1 was the dragon kit.  I ended up shortening the tracks by two links each as the seemed too long.  HAs been name after one of my favourite bands.
The Firefly was made from the Platz Girlz und Panzer kit.

And a group shot of my M4s so far

Nice work on the latest Shermans.  That one with the "shoot here" roundels must have been a horrible experience in real life.

Those are all magnificent but I especially like the one with teeth that's got its "war face" on.

Outstanding!

Oh man, what a great collection! Was the M4A3 105 flamethrower built from the old Dragon kit? In spite of some wonkiness with the suspension and the Italeri-sourced hull, that kit may still have the best “high bustle” turret I’ve seen. I really like your British direct vision M4A1/Sherman II. You did a greater job on the camo paint scheme.

I totally overlooked Thomas The Tank in my first look at this thread! I blame mobile device formatting. Anyway, while I think I’ve seen it before, that’s an incredibly cool and inspired idea. My son LOVES trains and we’re just now getting out of his serious Thomas phase and I love tanks, so that’s a hilarious mashup for me.

That M51 is a great kit to build. I enjoyed working with it when I built the UCAV.

Good grief, man! You're putting together M4's faster than most people can buy them! :o

Cracking job, by the way! ;) 8)
