Hallo fellows forumites!
this is the current state of the powerful muscle-tube called Tricyclone:
Painted, applied some decals and prepared the final details...
starboard view. The "nose" is a gunner turret from some 1/72 bomber kit, it had a unique vertical vent in the middle that was slightly enlarged with a small file to let the front mudguard / wheel cowling in it.
port view. The cockpit can be seen from this view (oops I forgot to shoot a top view!), it is made cutting the fuselage and inserting the bottom of another tube that was painted Flat Aluminum.
I cut that bottom tube chunk in a way that lets a sort of windshield out of the fuselage.
Front view
bottom view. You can see from here the effect of the insertion of the cockpit in the fuselage: two small "cheeks" appeared...
Final details:
The wheels. The small one is flat aluminum, although it may seem white.
The inner side of the big wheels is flat aluminum as well.
Seat, exhaust tubes to be glued behind the cockpit under the fin and "steering wheel".
Now I need to put some seat belts on the seat and glue those details at their place and the Tricyclone will be ready!
Thanks for watching!
Antonio
EDITOops I had made the top view, here it is:
